Hardwoodinstaller.com was born in the early months of 2002. Originally our emphasis was providing hands on experience with hardwood floors. From educating the consumer in what to expect when having work done, or what to look out for.  Working in "the trenches" over the years, I thought what a better way to get the word across with the internet.

In 2004 the site started selling some of the more well known hardwood brands found in flooring showrooms across the USA. The year 2008 saw a reversal to earlier times as the site once again became a true resource guide with a large expansion on subject matter.

"I actually became bored with just selling flooring on the internet," notes the creator. "The online sales took away what I enjoy the most; writing passionately about a subject I am familiar with and love. Being chained to an office was not in the cards."

Originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania and now residing in North Georgia, Ken spent many summers working for his father, who built custom homes in the Doylestown, and Buckingham areas.
