Appalachian Casitablanca is an imported hand scraped product offering a hardwood species few are familiar with. Apparently it's Spanish Hickory, but this could be a marketable
name only. In any event, the stained colors and distressing in this line are quite impressive on this five inch wide by 3/8 inch thickness.

Five dark stains are available with Casitablanca in First Light, Panera, Lava, Galleon, and Brackish. Similar to American Hickory, expect some considerable color variation from one board to another. However, with the dark stains the effects will be muted.

Installation with this line calls for the glue and tap together floating method, stapling to wood subfloors or direct glue down to concrete.

Ease of Installation- Wood Subfloors; Good. Staple/Nail DIY friendly. Concrete; High difficulty DIY gluedown. Professional recommended. Floating floor DIY friendly.
