Pecan is considered a budget Pecan for
those that may be seeking a hardwood floor
without breaking into the piggy bank.
Don't get us wrong, it serves as a
functional floor and can last well into 20
years, providing it is taken care of
properly.
We're just not particularly fond of
engineered floors like this one that only
measures 5/16 of an inch in thickness.
This marginal 3 inch wide plank is offered
in a natural clear finish and a character
looking rustic that serves well for those
seeking for a country motif. A third
color, stained is a reddish, brown Honey
color.
Although the manufacturer does allow a
stapled installation, we prefer a direct
glue down to wood or concrete subfloors.
No floating floor is permitted with this
line. |
