Kingsford Strip is an excellent option
for those seeking an affordable strip
floor without taking out another mortgage.
All kidding aside, more traditional strip
wood floors
typically cost two to four
dollars a square foot more. What's the
benefit of spending more? Nothing
actually. This product line can last well
into 40 and fifty years. Similar types
were used heavily after WW II during a
lumber shortage and many remain today.
Kingsford is a 5/16 inch thickness 2 1/4"
width hardwood offered in Ash, Maple, and
Red Oak. See the numerous stain color
selections below. Another added benefit to
this selection is the overall lengths
involved. They run the same as all other
Armstrong solid hardwoods. Once installed,
no one will know if it's thin or thick
hardwood.This
product can be installed to proper wood
subfloor material by fastening with
suitable flooring stapler, or glued direct
to concrete by very knowledgeable
installers. Only urethane based adhesives
can be used. |
