Valenza is a solid imported exotic
hardwood 3/4" in thickness by 3 1/2 inches
wide. While we consider the overall
milling and finish of the product to be
exceptional,
we cannot get used to the
fact they use much shorter lengths. This
is particularly common with many solid
exotic hardwoods that originate in Asia.
Overall lengths start at 12 and finish at
48, whereas other quality solid exotics
are milled up to 84 and sometimes 96
inches. The species line is quite
attractive offering not only Brazilian
Cherry and Santos Mahogany (Cabreuva) but
Kempas, Lapacho, Pangali Ironwood, Pradoo,
Sakura, Tauari, and Tigerwood. All
hardwoods are finished natural with no
staining. Installation requirements call
for stapling or nailing only to wood
subfloors |
